The Kindred Park Board meets the 2nd Wednesday of the month at City Hall at 7pm. It is open to the public and everyone is welcome to attend.

The Park Board manages the two parks, swimming program, summer recreation programs, and the community Memorial Building.
PARKS
The city park is located in the heart of the city across from the school. The park features a picnic shelter, basketball courts, sand volleyball court, playground equipment, swimming pool, and the Memorial Building.
Gilbertson Park is located behind the school’s baseball diamond and it features a softball diamond with a picnic shelter.
MEMORIAL BUILDING
A multi-purpose building is conveniently located at the city park and is used for special events such as family reunions, dances, bazaars, and meetings. The fee for renting the Memorial Building is $15/hour for 1-3 hours, $65 for a half day, and $125 for full day rental. Reserve the Memorial Building by calling Cathy at 701-428-0195.
SWIMMING POOL
The swimming pool will be closed for the season on August 18th.
Swimming pool hours are 1-4pm and 7-9pm. Family nights, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday from 6-7pm.
